The Where’s My Refund? tool is where taxpayers can check on the status of refunds, will be updated on Saturday, February 18 for most early filers.

The IRS said Tuesday that the page will be updated with projected deposit dates for early EITC and ACTC refund filers a few days after Wednesday, February 15.

Due to differing time frames with financial institutions, weekends and the Presidents Day holiday, these refunds likely will not start arriving in bank accounts or on debit cards until the week of February 27, if there are no processing issues with the return and the taxpayer chose direct deposit.
