TAX DEADLINE APPROACHING

In order to guarantee completion of your tax return by April, 17th, 2018, all of your tax material will need to be in our office by March 15th, 2018. 
Each year, we publish a Clergy Tax Organizer, which is designed to be used as a learning tool and reference guide. This organizer will assist you in gather the information needed to prepare your current return. You can get started with the steps listed below.
Step 1 – Read – How to Get Started
Step 2 – Order and complete the Clergy Tax Organizer  
Step 2 – Download and complete the State worksheet 
We suggest you review the entire organizer and worksheet and answer all the questions that apply to you. Your return will be prepared primarily from this data.
When your organizer and worksheet are completed, you can upload, mail or drop-off, or fax your tax material to us along with all your supporting documents, i.e. W-2s, 1099 forms and any other record of income.

REQUEST AN EXTENSION

If you are unable to get your tax documents to our office by March 15, 2018, you’ll first need to file an extension with the IRS to avoid any potential late-filing or late payment penalties. Filing an extension will allow you to push your tax return submission deadline back six months to October 15, 2018.
Clergy Financial Resources now has an easy option to file your extension. Complete the request form below.  Once this information is submitted, we’ll file your extension and send you email confirmation when your tax extension is accepted
