Federal and Bank Holiday Schedule
Direct deposit transactions need two business days from the time payroll is processed to the time the funds show up in the employee’s bank account. Normally, if payday is on the 15th, then you would authorize payroll on the 13th. If either the 13th, 14th or 15th is a banking holiday, then you would need to authorize payroll on the 12th to ensure the employees are paid without a delay.
Please find below a listing of banking holidays. Please confirm with your bank representative if you have any additional holidays days or banking holiday questions.
